We opened our doors on October 28th 2008 with one goal in mind: providing an enjoyable dining experience to the Olde Towne Portsmouth area. Thanks to our experience and dedication, we’ve managed to become masters of the craft. Providing dishes that are fresh, elegant and simply unforgettable.
OUR CHEF
Matt Hurst
Matt Hurst has been passionate about cooking since he was 15 drawing inspiration from the seasonal and local ingredients all around him. His culinary training includes both French and Japanese techniques, adding depth and variety to his skill set.
In addition to his culinary expertise, Matt has a strong affinity for wine, including a deep appreciation for the cultivation process, and holds several certifications in this area.
Starting his career as a fry cook, Matt's self-determination has propelled him to the position of executive chef. Throughout his journey, he has played a significant role in creating brunch menus, wine bars, and wineries in the Hampton Roads area, contributing to its vibrant culinary scene.
